In the words of Britney...

Yep! That's right! I did it again. After having the best of intentions at New Year, I completely relapsed into my old ways and ignored my blog completely. However, I'm more into my crafting than ever now, and I've even recently attended a few Copic colouring classes (where I met lovely like-minded people who love their crafting and pens as much as I do).  So I'm going to upload some of my more recent cards here (I have got into the habit of uploading them to Pinterest) and I really will try to post here regularly. So, it's now officially 2018 (Happy New Year to one and all) and just to kick-start the blog I'm going to post a few quick pictures of some of the Christmas Cards I made and sent this (last) year. Nothing overly complicated (although I was happy with them) and certainly not the best of photographs (I hope to have a better set up for photos in my new craft area). I also started off by hand-cutting my own feather for the hat, but then I found a Quickutz hat die on eBay which had a feather as part of the design, so I bought that chea

Here goes

So... here goes nothing... I used to craft when my children were small, and now they're 19 and almost 17.  I returned to crafting and predominantly making cards a couple of years ago, and we've recently had a garden office built which means that I finally have a dedicated craft space where I don't have to pack away everything every time I want to make a card. This blog will really be for the purposes of posting my cards and creations and my aim is to try to join in with some of the card making challenges which I've been starting to follow. Up to now I've only really posted the occasional card I've made on Pinterest, but maybe now I've got my own craft area I will finally be able to be more creative and productive (and prolific?) and maybe I'll even try to sell some of my cards to feed my stash-buying habits.  Working full time will probably impact on that, but with a well lit desk I can now craft whenever I like rather than having to stick to dayli
